Entertainment:
two nights of musical performances by some of the best all ages bands and many that have gotten their start in all ages music!
Meldrop: Meldrop is a five-piece indie rock group hailing from Tacoma, WA. Their journey began unexpectedly in the fall of 2022, as a group of bussers from a local seafood joint decided to unwind with a jam session after work. The immediate connection that emerged from that impromptu jam lit a spark that has since propelled the band into the heart of the Seattle music scene and beyond.
Milk Krayt: Hailing from Tacoma, WA, Milk Krayt is a stout mix of incredible guitar riffs, huge drums, strong vocals, and band-written lyrics strung out across an array of styles. They combine their unique background to create a distinctive blend of hard rock, with a dash of grunge that holds true to their roots.
Capala: Capala is a 4 piece from a Tacoma that makes the perfect soundtrack for a child’s birthday party. Their high energy live performance invokes a delightfully rabid euphoria, not unlike huffing paint. Equally appropriate to boogie or crowd kill to, their diverse range of sonic energy is a roller coaster with no seatbelts. A wide range of influences from Slipknot to Depeche Mode have unwittingly created the single gnarliest amalgamation of mind boggling visionaries this side of the Mississippi. Never does a Capala show ever come and go quietly, often being compared to alien abductions, combine harvester demolition derby’s
Hot Stepmom : Hot Step-Mom is a 5-piece alternative rock band from Tacoma WA, formed in 2021. The band's current members consist Anna Norris (vocals and guitar), Cameron McLennan (guitar), Ben Babcock (drums) and Jarin Szewczyk (bass). With each member having several influences, Hot Step-Mom manages to make in-your-face music with elements of punk, blues, jazz, funk, alt-pop and rock.
Ponty's Revenge: Ponty’s Revenge is a three-piece experimental punk band from Tacoma, WA
Zailee Haze: Founded in 2022 by front-woman Zailee Truex, Zailee Haze is an alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington. Built on heavy guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums, pounding bass and melodic vocals, Zailee Haze has created a genre-bending sound that plays into rock, electronic, and pop elements, creating a sound like no other. The band has since grown to include Leo Quale on guitar, and Prescott Lafontaine on the drums.
Antisummer.
Kapslok: Hailing from Seattle, Alaska, and NYC, the members of KAPSLOK have taken their differing musical backgrounds and bonded over the Seattle DIY scene to create music that is both unique and nostalgic. Their musical style is versatile, but their high energy is consistent. In one word—and hence their name—they are LOUD!!
Pregnant Dad: psychotic rock
Jody Ellen: Jody Ellen is a pop/alt rock singer and songwriter whose music blends heartfelt piano ballads with powerful rock anthems, drawing comparisons to artists like Evanescence, Paramore, and Lana Del Rey. Known for her earworm melodies, layered harmonies, and emotionally charged lyrics, she embodies a dynamic mix of vulnerability and strength in both her music and style. With a modern twist on 60s bombshell glam, Jody's duality shines through in her music, which shifts from soft to hard, while her fun and approachable personality makes her relatable to fans. Fiercely authentic yet accessible, Jody continues to carve out her place as a versatile rising star in the pop/rock scene.
Velvet.
Sons Of Ferdinand Sons of Ferdinand is an indie-rock band influenced by '90s college-rock and MTV's 120 Minutes. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Teenage Fanclub and Guided by Voices; they're already making a name for themselves with a blend of vintage and modern sounds, melody-driven hooks, and thoughtful lyrics. The multi-generational band is comprised of Lino (guitar/vox), Reylan (bass), and Royce (drums).
Panatela.
Star Matriarch: From her boisterous drums that somehow suggest both post-hardcore and Levantine folk, her lyrical yet abrasive guitars, to her emotively robust voice, Star Matriarch displays the full spectrum of emotions that come with being an audhd mother of color and (former) sex worker under Imperialist capitalism; sacred rage, disarming joy, deep grief, and spiteful celebration.
Mind Your Head: We are a high-energy rock band from Tacoma, Washington, made up of passionate high school students who came together through a shared love for music. Our sound blends infectious rhythms, powerful guitar riffs, and catchy melodies that get people on their feet. We live for the thrill of performing and love creating music that brings joy, energy, and a sense of connection to our audience. Whether it's a packed venue or a jam session, our mission is simple: to make music that rocks and gets people dancing!
